Most haven't seen me online much in the last few days. I'm on holiday =)

Just popped online to re-connect with you and share something I read in Spiritual Warrior VI by Bhakti Tirtha Maharaj.

Enjoy!

*****

None of us are defined by the costumes we wear. We have so many designations while we remain in these bodies, but we are none of these designations because the soul completely separate from any material labels. It is eternal.

na jayate mriyate va kadacin

nyam bhutva bhavita va na bhuyah

ajo nitah sasvato 'yam purano

na hanyate hanyamane sarire

For the soul there is neither birth nor

death at any time. He has not come into

being, does not come into being, and

will not come into being. He is unborn,

eternal, ever-existing and primeval. He

is not slain when the body is slain.

                                              Bhagavad-gita 2.20

In one sense, we are all extraterrestrials because no entities permanently reside in this material universe. We are simply in transit. The soul does not stay in these environments eternally; therefore, it is just a matter of how recently we have come and how ready we are to leave. These subjects only seem extraordinary because people try to understand the spiritual realms through mundane references and perspectives. Being absorbed in the normative patterns of material life, spiritual truths seem imaginary and unreal. Nevertheless, spirituality has always been full of adventure, excitement, and transcendental personal relationships.

Yes, there is no such a thing as 'comming into being' everything that truely exist is from everlasting to everlasting.
