The Consciousness Has Shifted...The Awakening Has Begun
Being a "starseed", I thought that I was born with some type of mission. But now that I'm older it doesn't seem like I have one, or any direction at all. I've been to psychics for help, but they say the same things, without much information to back it up. I keep telling myself, well, maybe my time hasn't come yet...but I feel miserable, each and every day without something to look forward to. Is this normal for other starseeds? Am I not truly awake to understand? I do help others the best that I can. But I feel like I am being held back from something big. To be honest, it feels like a curse. I am 33 years old, and turning 34 this month. I have no partner, no children, no job, no car, living with my parents, no friends....the list goes on...and believe me, I've tried to do things different to make it work, but it all seems to backfire, and I am stuck at home doing the same things every day.
It sounds like you may be waiting on something outside of yourself for your life to begin.
It may not be easy, but it helps to start Within. Perhaps going into quiet, serene seclusion in nature, and meditating, would better allow you to hear the voice of the Soul, and find guidance regarding what you truly want to do, have, or become.
I might only advise one not set a benchmark standard for their own personal happiness, based on what the world says a happy person should typically be, do, or have... Such as, "you should have a husband, house, car, nice job, and so forth, by this and this age, or you are somehow a failure, and will therefore be doomed to live a life of abject misery or discontentment."
Most people aren't truly fulfilled even after they have all the things that society told them would make them happy.
That isn't how life works. You are at a Spiritual crossroads. Seek Within.
I would like to share my opinion with you.
Being a "starseed", I thought that I was born with some type of mission.
From my understanding, you are born with a type of mission. Its like a type of life lesson(s) (I'm not at all talking about Sylvia Browne- she is fake). There are certain lesson or lessons you choose to experience prior to coming into this lifetime. You don't know what they are unless you have someone look at it for you. So your life to an extent will be influenced by these themes but there is no right or wrong. There is no pass or fail. You just do the best you can. You also have your own free will to do as you wish. If you want to make something your mission for your life, etc. You can do it. There are things that can interfere with your free will these include: entities/spirits, thoughts/ thought forms, etc. You still have free will and you can use it regardless of the circumstances.
But now that I'm older it doesn't seem like I have one, or any direction at all. I've been to psychics for help, but they say the same things, without much information to back it up.
You can make your life whatever mission, you want it to be. There so much you can do. The beauty of life and free will, is that you can chose what you want to do or how you will deal with your life situations.
Psychics can be very helpful but they don't always know everything or can tell us everything that specifically is going to happen. If your not getting the answer you desire. The answer is for you try to answer for yourself. There is a lady that does free readings online. I can give you her information if you want it. Maybe she could be some assistance to you if you desire. You can always ask your spirit guide(s) to assist you what you need. ( You can just say it in your head to them and they will get it ), you can say it outloud too but ( I think it better to say it in your head ).
I keep telling myself, well, maybe my time hasn't come yet...but I feel miserable, each and every day without something to look forward to. Is this normal for other starseeds?
In your current circumstances, it can be hard to have something to look forward too. In my opinion, there era we are in is extremely dysfunctional but it dysfunctional for a certain reason (keep people controlled). When you keep telling yourself your time hasn't come yet. Your reminding yourself of your true potential. You know there is more to life than what you experiencing and your not achieving your true potential. A lot of people have found success much later in life and not in their early years. So take the steps to make it happen for your life so you will be in your time.
I do help others the best that I can. But I feel like I am being held back from something big.
Yeah there are things that could hold you back: spirits/entities,curses, psychic attack, thoughts/thought forms, diet, things that effect your subconscious mind ( music, food, tv, etc),environment, etc. You could be very correct on that one.
Keep helping others, this very wonderful character to have but don't forget about yourself.
I am 33 years old, and turning 34 this month. I have no partner, no children, no job, no car, living with my parents, no friends....the list goes on...and believe me,
I'm 33 too. I can check so many things off of this list of yours. I have no partner, no children, no job, living with parents, few friends but none around. So you are not alone, nor are you abnormal. One step at a time. :)
I've tried to do things different to make it work, but it all seems to backfire, and I am stuck at home doing the same things every day.
If this is the case for you there is probably some problem in your subconscious mind that is blocking you on some level (these can be things, Ive mentioned above in the post). The energy you carry will effect your circumstances so if something has manifested in your subconscious it going to play that script until its readjusted (by you or having someone assist you- if you have someone assist you be *very* careful who you allow to work with energetically period).
I know what you mean but all these things we're supposed to have are attachment in reality. I've had all of those at some point except kids and I made a note every time to remember how sick having those things truly made me feel once I got past the validation part.
I'd say your purpose at your current point is becoming more self sufficient or having a stronger spiritual backbone as I call it. When I look at people that seem to have these things we're supposed to want, every year I genuinely see more attachment, contracts, bondage, etc. and less happiness and freedom and such and I'm pretty sure that isn't just the perception of a cynical viewpoint.
The only way to free yourself from suffering is killing desire and ambition, the second one I feel like most people aren't aware of and is obviously blasphemy in our secular world. I know we're programmed to feel worthless when we don't have these things but that's the test here, it's faith and sacrifice and I guarantee you you're getting more spiritual growth from being alone and miserable than chasing apples with the common masses.
I've gone periods without finding a job before and I understand how insane it can be, especially for a guy in this culture or God forbid if you're attached already, but just have faith is all I can say. At least you're not homeless, I'd just assume it's bad karma if it got to that point. You've arranged for these reflective times before incarnating for soul growth and such, it's not because you're unemployable or can't interview or anything. It would seem from a secular viewpoint that you need to get a life and such, but you're actually examining your own life more closely imho.A wise person I've been fortunate enough to meet put this in the phrase "your work here is just as important as everyone else's," which is a pretty eloquent way of reminding people that we're operating in the realm of illusion.
I'd be lying if I said I never occasionally wished I could go back to being a normal person with a basic partner, basic friends and life... I still have dreams about it as sad as that is, but I've bitten those apples and I willfully put them aside each time to be honest (except for the car I guess), because I felt they were not just straining me emotionally and mentally, but depriving of an opportunity for soul growth, which is why I come here, not to be an ego practitioner and hang with the same stagnant soul group like literally thousands of times.
I don't see my earth dad very often since I'm blacksheeped, but he does have his moments of intuition for being unawake. After the last time I dumped some of the things we're supposed to want and hit restart on life, he said it seemed like a massive weight had been lifted from the last time he saw me although I hadn't shared anything with him. Trust me, we're better off spiritually and emotionally without these things at our current point in evolution.
Thank you for asking this question. I'm totally the same.
I don't believe in "missions." I've decided not to be a "missionary" in this life. ;-) I'm here to learn and to be. To love and to follow my passion. To be joyful and to heal. To use my creativity and enjoy all the facets of my life, including all those with whom I come into contact! And because of this, I greet you in friendship, G, and all!
The thought came to me that you should read "The three waves of Volunteers and the New Earth" by Dolores Cannon, if you have not already.
Thanks for sharing, I know how you feel.
"Better to do a little where you can than a great thing you could have done but chose not to. To do nothing is despair lived out."
We all grow at our own pace. There's nothing wrong with living with your parents at your age, despite what society may suggest. While it can be depressing, there are plenty of opportunities to help out around the house and take some responsibilities away from your parents.
I truly would avoid thinking like you have some sort of mission to accomplish. The problem with many of us is the feeling like you alone have to save the world. It doesn't have to be exactly that, but overall people put too far too much of themselves into that mentality. You literally cannot save anyone who doesn't want your help or to be saved. Free Will allows them this choice and you need to realize that.
The only thing holding you back is yourself. Self is the greatest enemy you will ever face, bar none. Limits are self imposed. The choices you make and the actions you take create your fate.
Are you taking care of yourself? What do you want out of life? Scrap that whole "reality" existential bullshit and focus on living. It can be enjoyable and it can be downright miserable. You get what you put in.
You may or not feel like a certain job is beneath you. If you do, stop thinking like that and realize we all have to start somewhere. You're not going to be beamed up by the mothership.
I've been in your position. I truly have, didn't move out of my parents house until I was 27. Smart as a whip, but I didn't like school. Hard worker, but I didn't like most jobs. I sat around and played a lot of video games and did drugs for a long time. Suicide attempts, in trouble with the law, bad friends... you name it. While I was a very nice person, I had serious issues. Fast forward now, I have practically no friends. I work 40+ hours a week (I make 10.75 an hour) and I'm in bed by 10pm most weeknights. I bought my dad's truck from him, I play golf with my one friend atm, and generally just keep to myself. While I've always found solitude comforting and easy I do seek social interactions and people usually find me fun to be around. In short, the question is "Can you pick yourself up and surprise yourself?"
Find something to practice. I chose golf. Preferably something active and outside. Go to a temp agency and get a job. They will find you a job. That's how I got my full time job and it's piss easy. Don't think "Oh I don't have transportation so nobody will want me." Not true. Where I work there are multiple convicted felons on payroll with benefits, so a lack of transportation isn't the worst obstacle to overcome. And surely your parents will help you.
Last year I felt completely useless, and with no direction, like I had wasted 28 years, I felt beaten by life, I said to me "it is official now, I lost the game of life" I accepted the defeat without hating or reproaching myself.
I don`t know what exactly triggered the shift in direction, maybe my subconsious was finally ready to go on the path of spirituality, who knows, but now I am starting to aligning with what I call my mission here.
I still have no partner, no kids, not the job that I want, etc but my life has never been more interesting and exciting.

I too have hit a block in the road but I am making the best of it.
I trusted to many people who eventually stole from me from the business ideas I has so my father is supporting me at the moment until I can get back on my feet.
I'm 40, single with no job also but I do own my house which I am selling at the moment so I can have a fresh start and have a job that I want to do and not that I am forced to do.
I was going to return back to United States but then I realized the cost of living is just too expensive there so I will stay in Colombia.
Perhaps you would like Colombia. I understand you have no work but what skills do you have?
I'm in the process of building custom made 1901 Oldsmobile replicas if you are good with your hands, you are welcome to come here and to help me build them.
If you like Colombia and perhaps find your soulmate here, you can own a house with land for $10,000 near my home if your parents would help you.
The dollar is worth almost 3 times the value here if you want to manifest something different in your life.
I finally met a Colombian Starseed so who knows how my new frienship with her could blossom.
Here is a sample of the replicas I am planning on building.
So because you want direction in your life, consider coming to Colombia and I will do my best to help you get settled here.
Also, research and buy a piece of Moldavite to guide you.
In my opinion you simply need to shift your perception of your situation. Like, I've read your post and my first thought was "Wow, this person has so much freedom and time to enjoy life, that's great!" You're perfect the way you are. Things will go the way they need to, patience <3
I thought the same thing when I read your post. You have basically a blank slate at the moment. You could do anything,go anywhere. There's nothing holding you back. What does your heart desire?
Sending you blessings. May you fulfill your mission.
