Nature Workers & Earth Healers for Oceans

This is a group for anyone who is interested in all things related to oceans, marine life conservation, protection and exploration. Unfortunately our oceans are deteriorating quickly and there is less awareness/protection because unlike nature on land, the surface stays the same even if so much is changing for the worst below. We need to stand up for our ocean friends who live under the sea. They say that 95% of the oceans are yet to be discovered and there is so much still to be explored! Feel free to share videos, articles, ideas for action, discussions, photos on all topics from mermaids, dolphins and scuba diving to environmental issues.

Yes @CelestialNomad... It just crushed me when I watched this news story about the baby dolphin. A culture obsessed with selfies, mobiles, social media, so disconnected they forget their humanity and what's important in life.

Happy (Belated) 80th Birthday to Ocean Guardian Sylvia Earle!

Her organization Mission Blue-Sylvia Earle Alliance works to protect "Hope Spots" which are special places that are critical to the health of the ocean. Mission Blue Website

Her work and her life is also highlighted in the Netflix Documentary: Mission Blue. I added the trailer video too for those interested.

Here is a little clip to celebrate some of her major accomplishments as a marine biologist and explore:
