Throughout the history of this planet no symbol has been more powerful or influential over consciousness than that of the Sun.

The Sun symbolizes the eternal spirit within us all. It brings light, heat (radiance) and truth.  It is the true essence of what you are made of. This is what you are, this is what you have been, it is what you will always be - a spark of the creator (God/Goddess).

You as your human aspect are in the process of realizing and attaining awareness of  this spark or spirit within, this is known as the process of becoming. Spirit, purpose and becoming is what the astrological Sun represents. It is the outward flow of energy from the centre of your essence. The rest of the chart (universal energies) serve the purpose and experience of your spirit.

All of the energies and experiences that you encounter on the way in this journey of becoming get recorded within a part of this spark or spirit that is known as the soul.  The soul is the frequency bank forever a part of the spirit that reflects on itself. The soul represented by the moon, is the energy of being. Being and becoming is the mystical marriage many astrology students do not take into account when casting charts. (I will get to the moon and the nature of the soul in a future post). But for now it is necessary to understand that you are a pure spark of light - spirit.

This inner spark can be accessed through your etheric heart also known as the thymus or high heart chakra. Many people do not yet have a connection to the inner Sun. The energy of this chakra is extremely light and expansive and blows outward like a balloon. It is simply blissful. This chakra along with the etheric wings (represented by Chiron) is the integration point of the mind/body/spirit complex. It resonates to the new planet or new earth reality in which you embody your higher self. There are many colours associated with this chakra I perceive it as a turquoise/blue green colour also with tinges of yellow.

As I have said before in previous articles the thymus gland acts as a transformer and converts pure light into electromagnetic energy. It is the seat of Solar Consciousness (5th dimensional). Now, in the natal chart the sign, degree, house, aspects and declination of the Sun will indicate how you can ACCESS the spirit within. It does not describe your essence. No words or symbols can describe your inner light. This manifests through a frequency that can be felt. For example, I have the Sun in Gemini in the 8th house conjunct Chiron. This simply describes how I as an ego/personality can best access the inner essence. Now in a quick superficial way of putting it together would be communication (Gemini) of occult concepts (8th house) for healing (Chiron). Let your intuition speak to you when it comes to understanding your chart. But again your essence can only be felt as a frequency.

As above, so below. By observing the physical Sun in the sky (which is not very physical at all) you can activate your inner Sun especially if you let it penetrate your thymus gland. Feel it. You are the same spark. Sun gazing has been an occult art for thousands of years - your inner vision governed by your pineal gland can activate by this simple act. I remember doing this in Lemuria. Solar flares have an enormous impact on consciousness and further the awakening of the divine self.

One final note. By opening your thymus chakra - the centre of Solar Consciousness, you will walk in the new earth reality. You will be able to see the inner light of others and help them to recognize it. Remember we are all a spark of the creator, equal and have a purpose. Acceptance of the purpose of your self and others is key to keeping the flame alive.
