I sit here in externally quiet repose

My body's calm, my mind is collected

But within my graceful soul I churn

Filled to the brim, I overflow

Universal Love, my heart truly knows

Faith in myself I've finally invested

How sweet a sensation, that I may burn

Released from the ego, its time to grow

We all carry this indelible frequency

Resoundingly Resonant Within you it resides

Release the barriers, open the minds…

I lay here and weep quietly to myself

The overwhelming emotion accompanies Beauty

Tears roll down my cheeks, yet i smile

A lightness fills the hollows of my heart

a realease of things better left alone

Sublime in this restive state, purified

Gentle light from within me emanates

Confusion, once clouding all i viewed

Is broken up by the certainty of my love

My soul sprouts wings and rides the currents

unlike Icarus the sun…

Poetic inspiration comes quite random

I begin to tap on keys and ideas come together

Who'd have thunk I had this capacity?

Certainly not me, but alas, I was wrong

for all that we assume to be right,

how often do we prove ourselves wrong?

Inside all minds lies a unique beauty

a resonant reverence residing in our brainwaves

I seek to communicate these vibrations,

to make myself felt, I need to be heard

i spend much time…

I sit by this river, listening to its bubbling passage

The simplicity of nature blankets my mind

I am no longer troubled by the bugs

Their insistence at invading my space is but a reminder

We are all simply looking for a place to roost

Perhaps we'll find it further down this river.

I rest in this boat alone, I lie back and marvel at the unknown

Peacefully I drift, lost in a rare moment

I let go of these oars, I no longer steer against…
