He just appeared in my meditations, and this is not a spirit guide or anything, it is a real person that I've had contact with. This is not someone who I know very well..just a mere aquaintance that I feel a very deep connection to. It is very strange. During my meditations he hugs me and our heart chakras light up and explode with energy. I feel at peace. After this he just holds my hand and waits while i'm doing my thing... or he leaves. What is going on? How can he join in on my meditations?
Permalink Reply by Jessica R. on January 4, 2012 at 2:42pm I cannot pursue this at this time on physical level (meeting up, discussing the connection,etc..) I'm married and my situation is complicated...immigration, kids and such. But in time I will be able to dig a little deeper. But for now, i just would like an explanation as to what is going on in my meditations?

Does he know this is happening? if so this is something all together different. But in a meditative state this could be simply you inner self and its desires. This is not wrong , or exactly telling you to pursue this. Its obvious there is a spark between you two, but this could be many things, or simply your innersel f manifesting this figure for comfort and connection. As you already know the heart chackra also has a lot to do with your health.
like i said before if you suspect he is physically aware of this , this could be very different ,
And welcome to the group by the way :) love

Permalink Reply by intrinsic luminosity on May 26, 2012 at 5:16pm Hello,
I have always had trouble meditating because most meditations involve visualization of some kind.... I simply cant visualize. there are some really good meditations to do everything from getting in touch with your guides to tapping into the energy of the earth/universe but I cant do them. I dont know why I cant visualize. I have even tried closing my eyes and changing the color to blue instead of red but It doesnt work.
Is there any advice you can give me? :/

I would suggest lowering your expectations of your session to just a relaxation time, and practice being quiet focusing only on your breath. Low ambient music can also help you relax as well as calming incense like sandelwood or sage.Try not to wear restrictive clothing , and go through a relaxing period starting at your feet working all the way up the body as you breath before you start focusing on your breath.I try to stretch out a little ,finding muscles that need to relax. After you are comfortable then focus on your breathing in , and out only.Start with maybe 10 min a day, and work your way up.It does take practice to silence the mind, and we can sometimes hinder that if we go into our quiet time with expectations of something like talking to our guides, or trying to hard to use visualizations . Our bodies already know what we need , and these things will come easier when you come to that stage.
I would also practice when you lay down to sleep at night by doing something like a chackra balancing meditation. First , if you dont already know read up on your chackras , colors, and their locations . As you lay in bed on your back take a couple min as if you were meditating and focus on your breath only. When you are relaxed start at your root chackra and picture a light the color of that chackra hovering directly over that area , and focus only on that light. Do this for about 5 min per center or chackra.
You just gotta find things that work for you everybody is different, but you must relax so your mind can do the wonderful things you want to do. I hope this helps : )

Permalink Reply by intrinsic luminosity on May 29, 2012 at 11:29pm this is very true. I do need to lower my expectations.... I just dont want to :P I am impatient and want to be able to do everything right away haha. it is the instant gratification culture and age that I am currently in. I will definitely try what you suggest though.
oh and I forgot... I have a weak back and cant manage to sit up straight unless I am in a chair with a back so meditating on the ground doesnt work very well. I am constantly thinking about how uncomfortable I am. I have tried pillows and everything but I may need to find an alternate way to meditate.
that chakra meditation sounds simple and effective but I cant even imagine/visualize that. Hopefully I will get there one day.
thankyou so much for replying :) it means a lot.
