The angels of Avalon post above explains some of it. I wont go to much into specifics, but if you have had synchronistic events, or your guides have led you to believe you are an angel.. You most probably are..:-)

I'm also associated with the sciences through ascended master Hilarion or the 5th ray, and have had some guidance from El Morya. But my primary ray is blue, and I AM also associated with Michael and Zoroaster.

Yes, great answer John..:-) And we are also keepers of the flame as I understand. And one can certainly contain the energies or aspects of more than one ray, as each is unique in their soul evolution. At least that's my understanding. There are some that are much more expert on the significance of the rays in different ways, but they are very much a part of our growth process and soul makeup..:-)

Cliff, I believe I'm associated w/ the 5th Green Ray since in my photos there are only solid green primary orb around me not the likes of other soul &  elemental orbs that is common for others...& the fact of my interest in logic & of the sciences as well as the pursuit of truth...even my favorite colors have always been green & blue; Green Ray & Blue Flame association perhaps? 

This is the channeled & explaination meaning as it is more than just a "healer";

 

The green Ray of light represents concretization, crystallization of substance, knowledge and science. The green Flame is the Flame of balance and Truth. It leads to analysis and development of ideas, especially Divine ideas and impulses that have been conceived in the First Ray of the Blue Flame. Those ideas ultimately and inevitably produce wisdom and light. The fifth Ray of light brings the energy of exploration which might eventually produce separation and crystallization. The discernment and thoroughness with which the green Ray operates produce in the mind of man an act of final understanding and revelation of the Truth. This is the Ray of concentration, as a manifestation of the undisturbed sustained attention, which is attained by consecration. In the green Flame we recognize the seat of the physical healing and perfection.

How does one know what Ray they are? I have seen some information about it but not on how you can tell your own Ray.

I really am such a newbie. :)

The seven rays also represent the attributes that one is working with as a chela on the thread of a particular ascended master or several.

It depends much on the ray you are under, or that your aura is mostly associated with. Or ones personal traits.

A Blue ray is associated with Michael, I AM a Blue Ray. 

A Green Ray may be working more with Raphael and is most likely a healer of some kind. 

There are many types of angels, the Archangels being the highest form.
