Permalink Reply by divan roshan on March 2, 2011 at 10:42am If you were born with it, then it may be a birth mark....but I have one, but it's actually not a birth mark...because I wasn't born with it. It appeared when I was about 11 or 12 yrs old. It's actually related to hypothyroidism type 2 (doctors don't reconized type 2...it's caused by toxins/pollution). Type 2 can't be found by testing the blood. The saliva test works best.
Type 2 Hypothyroidism
is defined as peripheral resistance to thyroid hormones at the cellular level. It is not due to a lack of adequate thyroid hormones. Normal amounts of thyroid hormones and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) are detected by the blood tests; therefore, blood tests do not detect Type 2 hypothyroidism. Type 2 hypothyroidism is usually inherited. However, environmental toxins may also cause or exacerbate the problem. The pervasiveness of Type 2 hypothyroidism has yet to be recognized by mainstream medicine but is already in epidemic proportions.
It's toxins and our enviroment that causes this...meds, bad food, water, etc.
It makes sense to me that children with autism has these white marks too....it makes a lot of sense. :)
I have a dime size white mark on my chest and very tiny pin sized white dots on my leg/legs. It called vitiligo, BUT it doesn't spead like vitiligo...it usually stays the same size...my marks never grew any larger. Right now, I don't worry about it much...I just started detoxing my body.
