Sharing Movies, TV Shows & Documentaries that Appeal to Starseeds

I've noticed that in chat, we're often discussing/sharing great movies & documentaries. I thought sharing movies, documentaries, TV shows, etc that appeal to Starseeds, Starseed ideals, what have you, in a place where we can all remember them and revisit them might be fun & interesting :) Not to mention, informative for all of us!

If you can find a trailer/preview, please post it. Or if an entire documentary or film is available elsewhere (legally, that is) post the link to those, too :)

Happy sharing!

I Origins - 2014

Directors: Mike Cahill
Cast: Michael Pitt, Brit Marling, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey
Genre: Drama, Sci-Fi

Synopsis: "A molecular biologist and his laboratory partner uncover evidence that may fundamentally change society as we know it."

Themes: Reincarnation, Soul Mates, Past Lives, Science, Source, Eyes (being the 'window to the Soul')

This movie is great no matter who you are, but I don't think anyone can appreciate it like a starseed can...

K-PAX - 2001

Release Date: 26 October 2001

Director: Iain Softley

Cast: Kevin Spacey, Jeff Bridges

Genre: Drama, Sci-Fi

Synopsis: "Claiming to be an extraterrestrial from a planet called 'K-PAX' about one thousand light years away in the Lyra constellation, Prot (rhyming with the word "goat", played by Kevin Spacey) is committed to the Psychiatric Institute of Manhattan where psychiatrist Mark Powell (Jeff Bridges) begins to evaluate him as a delusional."

I've heard a lot about this film just recently and honestly I can't believe I haven't seen it yet! I acquired it today so I plan on watching it tonight :) Thank you for adding this one, Zanek. I'll post here after I watch it, I'm excited!

Fire in the Sky - 1993

Director: Robert Lieberman

Cast: D.B. Sweeney, Robert Patrick, Craig Sheffer

Writers: Travis Walton (book), Tracy Torme (screen play)

Genre: Drama, Sci-Fi, Based on a true story

Synopsis: "An Arizona logger, Travis Walton, mysteriously disappears for five days in an alleged encounter with a flying saucer in 1975."

Personal Note: This is one of the best UFO/abduction cases due to the amount of witnesses and police involvement. I think most here have heard this story, but either way, I really enjoyed watching this film.

Just finished watching it, thanks Zanek! I very much enjoyed it :D

first off the tv shows are all pointing towards things that are coming, more super powers more x men more psychic powers, this is all coming and the time for ascension is right around the corner and very soon it will at our doorstep people think because we will have those gifts things will be different, and they will to an extent but think about this if the gift is used for evil and hurting people the gifts will be taken from the person while others still have their gifts, so the abuse will stop, and there will be more education as well the hospitals will be non-existent since there will be healing chambers and people will be connected to universal contiousness as well, the history books will change to tell the real story, this is what is coming....smurfy

I saw it too and hilarious as well!

Believe - 2013-Present

Synopsis: "A relationship forms between a gifted young girl and a man sprung from prison who has been tasked with protecting her from the evil elements that hunt her power."

Personal Note: I posted both trailers so you can get a better idea of the show. It's all about this little girl born with amazing psychic powers and the people protecting her from ending up in the wrong hands (people who want to use her gifts to 'control the world').

The Fountain

Synopsis: "Spanning three parallel stories over a millennium, 'The Fountain' is a story of love, death, spirituality, and the fragility of our existence in this world."

Personal Note: I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH.

Kymatica movie - 2010

A great movie based on a beautiful book.

Really looking forward to this movie! Brit Marling usually stars in really interesting films.
