Creepy Run in With a Shadow Being
First off, sorry if this is in the wrong area, after some research no one is really certain if the shadow beings are ET, extra-dimensional, or like a demonic like entity, so sorry about that.
I usually attract nothing but the best as far as spiritual entities go, but every once in a while I run into the shadow beings, I have had dreams about them, citing that they needed to 'stop' me, that they were worried about my 'light'. I don't know what for, it was a vague dream, like an eavesdropping of a conversation. I have had dreams of them influencing people, one of which was a man I was dating, the night before I moved ACROSS the country with him I had a dream one of the beings went inside of him, and the next day when I saw him and had all my stuff with me he randomly said he was getting back together with his ex, that I couldn't live with him, and made me homeless for about a week (thank god my family got me a ticket back!!)
That's just an idea.
Well things have started to increase in the past couple of weeks.
The other day I was at my friend and her husband's house and later they said that when I left the house a bag that was on the wall like RIPPED down, quite violently. Obviously it freaked them out. Then they said they kept seeing this shadow following me.
I have only personally seen the shadows a bit in comparison to my friend and her husband, who said it creeps them out, they see it all the time around me recently. Although, I have been FEELING it, cold temperature drops, then sometimes it's the opposite, extremely HOT spots, like your hand is near a fire. I was at my friend's place when I felt the hot fire like energy, she felt it too, she's usually pretty cool with the psychic stuff and even she was like REALLY freaked out.
The last night I was telling my friend about what happened at my friends house (didn't mention the shadow) and she said "omg there's this shadow creature here with glowing eyes, looks like a cross between a dog and a man.
Then she started to channel, so of course this whole thing just became even creepier. It said it was ordered to watch me, and gave her a vision of me in a maroon silk ceremonial robe and then of me tripping and falling down and said "We are the Watchers; I have come to watch her fall."
Needless to say, I am a little freaked out. Any idea what this is about. I obviously don't really trust these creatures, and think that perhapes they are trying to scare me into thinking I am about to fail in some great way. This creature even said that I was "dark" but that he doesn't understand why because I am "really boring". LOL
Any ideas, insights or comments would be awesome because I'm feeling really awkward right now.
In my soul, I feel that what they are TRYING to do is to GET me to 'fall' whatve

You know who Jacob is, right? Jacob in the bible? Jacobs ladder? He laid down somewhere and had a vision of beings going up and down a ladder and he was told that his people would become a great nation. This scared the crap out of him so he said "what a terrible place" and got the hell out of there.
Then these things came to pass.
I can't think of one mention in the bible where someone has seen an angel and it didn't scare the hell out of them... and talk of demons comes from religion so if you're not religious, then I guess you wouldn't need to worry about demons.
Let me ask you this. What do you think would cross a cows mind if she knew what was in your hamburger?
You do know that one day you will die I assume... Does this not scare you as well? That you could forget every person you've ever cared about even if your spiritual energy is transmuted into something else?... Do you remember your past life? Or could it be that every one you cared about in that life is a lost memory.
Or maybe not...
If I were you, I would just pray.
You're going to get all kinds of answers here, but no one is going to help you see the truth better than God.
One of mankinds biggest problems is that he turns to other people for spiritual guidance when he should be turning to God. He's going to show us all who has the most power.

hmm.. i use to have dreams when i was younger of shadow people on the wall chasing me and tormenting me.. ive had them several times. they stopped a while back.

Well I would not call myself traditionally religious, mostly because I have had a Near Death Experience when I was 14 and I didn't get the vibe God was a judgmental or imposing figure at all, in fact, in my NDE the spirit talking to me (couldn't see it though, sound only, it was a very bright place lol) actually had an interesting sense of humor and thought it was funny I was there because I seemed lost and that was kinda amusing for some reason, and there was no judgement at all... He only said "Kendra what are you doing here, you have a job to do, you are not suppose to be here yet go back". I take comfort in the word "Yet."And I have tried looking on the inside, the only thing I know is that these beings don't seem to really like me, that they have been trying to 'taint' me for a while... I just don't 100% know the purpose, and wish I knew what they were attempting next. I know in my dream they said they tried isolating me from people when I was a child, so then as an adult they tried taking love away from me in my romantic life... It seems like they have a new trick up their sleeve and I am trying to stay one step ahead here.
Oh and if I believe in demons? I am not sure, I do think there IS a God, I do believe in angels because I have run into angels who have protected me, I was only SLIGHTLY scared, it was a different KIND of scared. The scared these shadows give me is one of panic for my life. The ones the angels give me is one of just plain being super confused to the point it causes a feeling that I am going nuts lol. The angels actually give me a feeling of protection and even wisdom. The shadows make me feel like they are trying to rob me of something or are trying to oppress and oppose.
But I do feel angels and demons are not exactly what we THINK they are, obviously I put this in the ET section, I think they are closer to being ET related or extra-dimensional related. Perhaps they are not even ET at all but a lower or higher vibrational being on our own earth.

i was having these horrible dreams involving shadow people, who wanted to harm me..i would wake up gasping for air, marks around my neck..my housemate told me, he once stood at my door, watched me sleeping. only to hear my breathing change to like i was running. i scared him when all of a sudden i woke up gasping. This went on for months, then it all stopped. I have seen shadow beings/people standing in my bedroom door way looking at me..freaked the crap outta me..never did find out who they were..i know they wanted to harm me though

Well I figured maybe someone could give me even more information. I mean I am not 100% sure, even though I sound very certain, I do feel that there's more to it :p. It's an interesting topic because from my research it seems no one REALLY knows but it is COMMON for people to run into them. Which is kinda odd because usually these kinds of things are pretty detailed on the internet so when everyone just shrugs their shoulders and says "well really we have no freaking idea" that's just odd.
Plus while I know that they are trying to attempt SOMETHING with me, from what I gather it's something about not letting me achieve something... Note I keep saying the words SOMETHING which means there's a lot of gaps in my knowledge. It's not nearly as detailed as it sounds. "Something about not letting me achieve SOMETHING" is using the words something twice, that's a lot of missing information :p. Looking to fill in the holes....
Plus looking for other's experiences. I'm hoping there's someone out there that knows way more than me, someone with more extensive run ins perhaps.

well i don't think i need any soul searching on if they are bad, at least the ONES that deal with me. Now you can be right about how i shouldn't classify the ENTIRE species, because just like humans there are good ones and bad ones, but my run ins have been for the most part negative. The most RECENT one in the WHOLE didn't seem bad, he didn't even know WHY he was watching me, he was just reported to and doing what he was told, but the intentions of the group he was associated with, yeah, doesn't seem toooooo great.
Though maybe they were trying to warn me, about a great 'fall' coming for me, to warn me to watch the choices I make. It's confusing and I just wish i had more information about what is going on with me.
Oh and your story is really interesting, I had something similar happen but the outcome was the opposite. To make a long story short I lost my job, and to keep from being homeless I ended up getting into prostitution unfortunately back in 2010. I for the most part avoided becoming a statistic, didn't get into drugs, didn't end up meeting wackjobs who wanted to kill me, and didn't end up in a worse situation than what brought me there, hooray. lol
But one night I DID get busted by the police. There was an FBI agent there, he said he was working with the Chicago police because he wanted to make sure there was no children being forced into things they shouldn't or human trafficking (which is sex slavery if you don't know) which is a noble cause. He pulled me aside asking me questions about it. Nothing out of the ordinary.
It was a pretty normal situation until I got to the station where they were going to book me. I was pretty hysterical, I was crying, upset, I cooperated. There were about 6 other girls who were busted too. When I was in the area they do the paperwork a police officer pulled me aside and we had this conversation:
"Soooo I gotta question, what's your deal?"
"My deal?"
"Well for one, you are not like the rest of these girls, you are actually educated... And two, we know who you are, and apparently you have a LOT of friends in some VERY high places and we have you covered."
"Huh??"
I have NO idea what he meant by that BUT when I went to court the chicago police station actually purposely fudged my information so it wasn't on my record, they even purposefully misspelled my last name.What friends do I have? No freaking clue, all I know is I am VERY grateful not to still have a clean record.

To get rid of it,
Run a smudge stick through your whole house and ask whoever you believe into to guide you and cleanse your house and you.
Put a bowl of water by your door each night, front house door. Or WHERE EVER it is you see this shadow person the most. Then each morning throw it out. Do this for 5-7 nights and it SHOULD go away.
I had three in my house once. That's how we got rid of them. They are not fun. They are very creepy and they are evil. It sounds like the one that you have is toying very badly with you. You need to get it away. They usually are there to cause death or some very bad events. I've had personal experiences with them. I really really do not like shadow people.
