Reuniting Humanity With Their Divinity...It's Time
Today I bought some Rose Quartz and I cleansed them before I used them but I placed one of them under my pillow to try to sleep and it made my heart beat very erratically and hard and it is so uncomfy!! I read it deals with the heart Chakra but is it supposed to make one feel this uncomfortable? Is this normal:?? Why would it make my heartbeat like this? I've been hurt in the past in love though and I thought I was over it I really did I faced the issues or so I thought? so I'm not sure if my Heart Chakra is closed or underactive or something? Any advice?

I would try moving the rose quartz to another chakra and see if you experience any other odd sensations to determine if it is indeed your heart chakra or some property of the particular rose quartz itself. For instance place it by your feet.

I felt like I was being smothered with this energy I didn't want to accept and also I couldn't breathe well when holding it. At the time I didn't think I had any issues of the heart that would warrant such a negative response. I wasn't always enthusiastic about using rose quartz because of my bad reaction, but I stuck through with it. Throughout the year I continued to meditate and work with it and over time I began to have some amazing breakthroughs. It took the better part of a year, but looking back I realize I had more heart issues to work through than I was aware. It has helped me work through many blockages of the heart chakra and has burst my empathy wide open! One of the most difficult crystals for me to work with has now become one my most powerful pieces. It holds so much of my energy and we have really bonded.
Now when I get difficult crystals I always try to work with them into a better relationship. Often times they become the "closest" crystals to me. It's up to you if you want to keep working with it since a racing heart can be quite uncomfortable. If you choose to work with another crystal, then consider working with one of the green variety of heart crystals like aventurine, jade, or kambaba jasper.

Permalink Reply by The Egyptian on August 9, 2012 at 4:02pm Quartz crystals have a strong mini electric pulse. We naturally have a pacemaker on our hearts. You have to wait until your body's pulse goes in sync with the quartz's. :)

Your resistance causes the crystal to push even more energy at you and in you. Try meditating with it and letting it know you are accepting of its frequency. Maybe by doing this you will unblock things in your subconcious that are causing you to resist.
