Anxiety issues that have become sever- any suggestions or help?

I am an empath and can read peoples energy very well. (im the person who reads a story, watches a movie, looks at a picture and cries! because I can feel for them and it deeply touches me) in high school I noticed I was having horrible stomach pains and was diagnosed with IBS- by the time I was 22 I realized that I manifested all of my emotions and stress in my stomach and thus induced this response from my physical body. I am very social and love to go out, but find that I became overwhelmed in public settings feeling anxious and off set?! I would ask my self "why am I feeling this way" I am having a great day and nothing is going on to make me experience these physical emotions- After I had my son 1 1/2 years ago I noticed that this has shifted to anxiety feeling in my chest- it is 100 x worse in public and its come to the point where I have contemplated medication just to feel normal again. My questions is does anyone else have these issues? How can I heal naturally? I have tried multiple methods to surround myself with white light ECT in case it is absorption of others energy but nothing seems to help. Any thoughts on what this could be?

Here is an article to reduce picking up others vibrations http://www.in5d.com/lightworker-depression.html search the word 'empath' on the in5d.com site & you will find a lot of other information too.  I also get stress related illnesses & someone on this site told me to look at the metaphysical causes of these which helped.  This site gives affirmations to counteract any negative metaphysical problems we may have http://www.vitalaffirmations.com/health/health_af.htm.  Also your symptoms may be getting worse due to ascension sickness as you have to release all negative emotions from the past to allow more positive emotions in.  This sounds crazy but it does actually work http://www.in5d.com/energy-shift-symptoms.html.  I'm an empath too & these articles were really useful to me so I hope you find them helpful too.  l n l xx

Most empaths (including me) have been through or are still experiencing these symptoms...aside from the good links Chadee gave, i would suggest focusing on matching your own frequencies to those that you want or desire for yourself now. This is the new paradigm....our thoughts and beliefs must be clear, and play an important role in how we are to achieve ascension

Avoiding crowded places can help at this time, as it's vital for us to stay in the good vibes and not be "bogged down" by the lower frequencies that can abound in high density places (there are days where i feel i should not be around any masses of people)...even better is to practice holding your own "home" frequency during expeditions in crowded places

Many are experiencing total transmutations, and come out feeling empowered, with new resonance and less sensitivity to negative vibrations...(i have hardly any pain now!)

Anxiety relates to the unconscious. So to eventually relieve it that unconscious content needs to be made conscious to figure out what the problem is and then fix or alter the disruptive programming.

If you cannot find the source of your anxiety (it's unconscious after all) there are a few other tips that might help at least a little in an indirect way. Anxiety produces muscle tension. So, be more mindful and aware and if you feel your muscles tense relax or release them. You might get tension in your legs, arms, stomach, chest, or face. The face is especially important. Different muscles in our face are used to form different facial expressions, and these expressions are related to emotions (and likely other internal states). So if you feel intense emotions coming on (anxiety, depression, whatever), release muscle tension and relax your face. Also, three slow deep breaths can help. Anxiety also increases heart rate (kinda like the flight or fight system) so if you feel your heart speeding up or beating rapidly take three slow deep breaths.

Aromatherapy

You may want to check out the crystal groups here - there are crystals who have very loving, calming, healing vibrations that may help.


A mild, relaxing herbal blend targeted for reducing stress or anxiety may help get you through the panic attacks enough to function while you do the inner work of addressing the underlying causes of the anxiety. A good herb store would have people who could help you find the right product/formula.

Don't worry - you will find what works for you and get through this!

i have this exact same problem actually!!!! i feel the anxiety in my chest it gets hard to breathe makes me feel like screaming. if im in a public place around alot of ppl for an extended period of time i begin to feel anxious but also drained as i feel that my energy gets exhausted like without kowing the people are sucking the energy out of me. i too look at pictures hear songs, read books or watch movies and feel the emotion behind it.. i feel others emotions and energies and it effects me greatly. i can also always feel a shift in emotion in the people i feel when they are different even if they deny it and i am always right, later they admit what was bothering them etc... its hard to be so sensitive.

Agreed! i can to sense a shift in energy, my husband hates it, because he gets away with NOTHING.

Me too, and i get super timid around people sometimes. What i have to do is stay in a constant meditation or take deep breaths all dayy. We have to pay attention to our thoughts ALL DAY. i know how you feel, im working on just this myself, we can do it! :) feeling what others feel can be stressful, lol i know! it drives me crazy but were moving into our power and this is the power we have we must learn to our control it and or adapt to it, i think its beautiful, this is the challenge! When anxiety steps in take a step back and look at the situation from a third person perspective. Try to find the root of the problem, think about what's bugging and how you can fi it once you find it until it passes. You're in control here, anxieties are just a misty haze of smoke, so to speak. I was having them pretty bad up until I got a chance to meditate today.

Didn't post this the other day, as i was hurredly preparing to leave town...

As aromatherapist, i'd like to suggest some E.O.'s as therapy for your condition...as aromas are conducted from the olfactory nerve directly to the limbic part of your brain, and have an immediate effect (or within minutes) on your entire system....

Here are some of my favorite essential oils for stress and anxiety relief:

Marjoram

Lavender

Neroli

Chamomile (roman)

Ylang Ylang

Himalayan Nard

Petitgrain (Bitter Orange Leaf)

Verbena

Melissa (not sure if it's called this in english...)

 

- Just put a few drops on a diffuser (clay or handkerchief) or in a cold mist diffuser several times a day - use one to three E.O.'s in a mix unless your adept at using them....

You can put up to 25 drops in 10ml of Jojoba oil as a perfume...

Try Lavender, Ylan ylang, Verbena together for example...or Marjoram, Chamomile, Nard...

All citrus (Bergamote, sweet orange, Grapefruit, Lemon...)are good for lifting mood and promoting well-being and happy thoughts....(photosensitive though!)

If you take baths, this is an excellent way to relax and alleviate anxiety - just put about 30 to 40 drops in some milk or oil for your bath

For better sleep, try using; 2 Lavander, 1Clary Sage, 1Vetiver for example diffused near your bed or on your pillow...(you'll also experience sweet dreams!)

Very important to use only high quality oils, preferably chemotyped and organic!
