It is really ironic that I find myself in this situation where I'm actually watching History Channel's show Ancient Aliens. The first episode I watched on TV a few months back and I almost died of laughter. Could aliens really have built Pumapunku? I see how they would come to that conclusion, but personally I felt like they were underestimating ancient Humans. Anyway. How did I go from being an amused skeptic to searching for answers? I'm not sure. I think it had something to do with this website, because suddenly Starpeople are real and I am a Starchild inside this Human body.

So I have been watching as many episodes as I can find on Youtube. Some of it I still scoff at. The Leonardo da Vinci episode in particular. They say he was either abducted by aliens or time traveled to the future and that's how he came up with his creations. Hm. Why can't a genius simply be a genius without involving aliens? The whole premise of the show seems to focus on how ancient Humans were too stupid to figure things out for themselves. I refuse to use the term primitive here, because being "primitive" causes certain biases. I think mankind is far more intelligent than we are given credit for. And at the height of their times, these civilizations were advanced.

Yet some things really do baffle me. How ideas about certain Gods and Goddess are reflected throughout many ancient cultures. And the building of pyramids occurred separately on two different continents. I have to admit the elongated skulls are pretty good evidence for ETs, but it could have been a deformity. What really gets me are the crop circles and the Nazca lines. Why would anyone create something that could only be seen completely from the sky when flight was thousands of years to come? And why do many of these ancient cultures have images of the Grey found in their artwork? Was Human DNA tampered with by ETs so that we would evolve in this way?

Right now I'm riding the fence. I figured this would be an interesting topic to discuss in this community (and no doubt there have been discussions about it before somewhere on this site. Forgive me for being repetitious). I just have to say one final thing...the Ancient Astronaut Theorist with the crazy hair cracks me up. It's kind of hard to take him seriously when his hair is so...well...bodacious.

Still its a good show to get you thinking about this kind of stuff and to be honest its sad that shows like these like Ufo Hunters (another fave of mine) never really make it to long before being taken off the air for whatever reason.

Puma Pumku also leaves me scratching my head. That one really is a mystery though I don't believe that are all right angles and such. Some of the things these ancient people did are just baffling. I love how modern people claim that ancient man was so primitive and less advanced. If that's the case how is it that we can't duplicate their works? That's why I like shows like Ancient Aliens, while they attest some of it was aliens, they also acknowledge that ancient man was more advanced than we believe. I love the show to pieces. :) And Tsoukalos is my favorite theorist.
